For most of the last fifty years, sending money across borders has meant routing a payment through a chain of correspondent banks. Each hop takes time, each bank takes a cut, and no one can tell you where your money is until it lands.
A typical international wire passes through two to four banks. Each settlement window is measured in hours, and most of them only run during business days. String those windows together and you get the familiar "three to five business days".
Flux collapses that chain to a single hop. We convert the source amount to USDC, route it across the network, and convert to the destination currency at the other end — all inside the same transaction.
The result is a median settlement time of 2.1 seconds — 24/7/365.
